Howdy, friends! I bet you thought I disappeared, didn't you? I didn't. I am here! And, I'm LOVING everything about our first full autumn in Kansas. While we were in ATX I found I really missed the changing seasons, the crisp fall weather, and the gorgeous changing leaves that signal us to bundle up and get cozy! I might be currently taking my #treestalking to the next level and, if you follow me on instagram, you're probably pretty sick of my leafy posts, but whatever.
Anyhoo, I was invited by a fellow design blogger, Sara, of Fine and Pink, to join a small group of bloggers who will all take a moment to share what is inspiring them this fall. It has been fun for me to meet some new friends and to see everyone's different perspectives, so I hope you'll visit these other ladies and see what they are queueing up for fall!
Let me introduce you to...
Estie Kessler, who has a lovely Instagram account and is #onetofollow
And, of course, Sara, who is also sporting a lovely Instagram account in addition to her blog!
To start off, here are a few things that have caught my attention and make me want to get my "fall" on:
The lovely woodsy scent of those Illume candles, brings the scent of a fireplace into the house, which is something that I always associate with cozy winters in Minnesota. I became addicted to these when we moved to Austin and I needed SOMETHING to feel like fall, so this little candle to the rescue!!! I am dying for that cozy cashmere Sabrina Sweater to go on sale so that I can cuddle up in it... The thrifty side of me refuses to pay full price for it, so it sits in my shopping cart until it goes on sale!!! The color-lover in me loves that Anthro Mohair Blanket for cozy movie nights with the kids, and the simple addition of some seasonal updates (the Aerin gilt bamboo frame and the Mum hand soap, for example), remind me that sometimes the seasons can bring small joys that make life more luxurious without lots of effort or undue expense. My picks aren't necessarily autumnal in color, but "cozy" and "comforting" are feelings I associate with fall and winter - especially now that I currently get to experience those seasons again! Yay!
Sara has a love of color just like I do! We actually have bonded over our favorite color, Savannah Moss, which is the color I used in my dining room... Check out these pretty bits she's currently coveting!!!
She has these items in her sights and here's why:
1- I am working on a formal living room for a wonderful client and we both fell in love with this Circa Chandelier. Timeless style at a great price!
Este's picks speak to my blue-and-white loving heart, and to my deep appreciation of a good classic/modern mix...
And last, BUT NOT LEAST! The ladies from Impeccable Nest, who are sharing these inspired bits:
I encourage y'all to hit up these ladies' blogs for more details, and to follow them on Instagram. You won't regret that daily dose of inspiration and eye candy!!!
